Moscow Mule

This Drink was born in 1940s In Hollywood CA at the Cock n' Bull bar where a bartender who was a Russian immigrant invented a drink to be sold in the copper mugs which she had brought with her upon moving from Russia to America.  The drink gained popularity until the Cold War began and it slowly began to lose popularity due to its name but in modern times it has made a resurgence showing up everywhere from dive bars to fancy cocktail lounges
